At this point, any reason to go outside for a bit is a good reason, especially if it involves getting a hot drink from a popular local kava bar.
According to St. Pete Rising, Speakeasy Kava is opening a new location in the St. Pete’s Grand Central District at 2101 Central Ave.
The space was previously used as a field office for New York City former mayor Michael Bloomberg’s presidential campaign (the office was also "vandalized" according to campaign staff, which didn't report any vandalism to police). The kava bar features a 1920s theme with an array of teas like their herbal infused Lady Luna, kava cocktails, Tallahassee’s Lazy Goat Co. brand, and locally brewed Mother Kombucha.
Speakeasy Kava is scheduled to open within the last part of this year. Whether it’ll be 24/7 like the Largo location is still up in the air.
