New Ownership brings new kitchen talent to St. Pete Favorite
SAINT PETERSBURG, March 3, 2008- Reserve your table now, as Table Restaurant is expanding their kitchen. Table Restaurant, the popular downtown hot spot, located at 539 Central Avenue, is spicing up their menu selection with the additions of some local gastronomic greats. Steven O'Brien, formerly of the TradeWinds, Saint Petersburg; Jay Ward, formerly of Mise en Place and Michael's Grill, Tampa; and Antonio Guevara formerly of the Renaissance Vinoy and Snappers have joined Table's new Chef corps. While the exciting menu at the Table will remain the same, Table will be adding new innovative and award winning culinary delectables to the already impressive menu.
Michael Stewart, the impresario behind South Tampa's chic 717 South on Howard Avenue, along with Landlord and new partners George and Linda Rahdert, teamed with former Manager Joe Moledo, a local favorite, are setting the Table for fine dining in Saint Petersburg. The new and improved menu items are innovative and creative and designed to please guests searching for quality food with impeccable flavor. The 160 seat, well appointed restaurant focuses on Atlantic Rim cuisine, specifically inspired from South America, the Caribbean, and South Florida, all with flourishes of Spain. Its prime downtown location offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with a contemporary lounge atmosphere. Table also features two private dining rooms for groups of up to forty-five, a VIP living room, and rooftop party space. Known for its fresh seafood, authentic ceviche, delectable cheesy bread, and scrumptious mojitos, the new ownership hopes to make a lasting impression on the downtown scene.
