The dark and smooth porter was aged for five months in Horse Soldier Bourbon barrels on-site at 3 Daughters Brewing. Good things come to those who wait (and if you're into waiting even longer, Webb's City Cellar at nearby Green Bench Brewing Co. ages its stuff for over a year).

The new brew launch event will be held on the brewery's outdoor patio, weather permitting, to ensure social distancing. Admission is free to save your bucks for brews on tap or to take a six-pack of the barrel-aged porter home with you. When CL called 3 Daughters about capacity, a representative explained that there is ample seating for the event, hosting 20 picnic tables as well as access to the covered open-air warehouse.
