Summer with Sierra: Big Beer Camp fest coming to Tampa

Tampa announced as one of Sierra Nevada's Beer Camp Across America festival stops in June.

Tampa will be among Sierra Nevada's Beer Camp stops this summer.

Earlier this week, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. revealed the locations for its second Beer Camp Across America festival tour, and Tampa will kick off the six-stop road trip.

Though a venue hasn't been named yet, the Tampa fest, scheduled for June 4, will pour specialty samples from hundreds of regional and local craft breweries. Additional stops for the annual tour include cities like Seattle, San Francisco and Boston.

Guests will have the opportunity to interact will influential figures in the beer industry throughout the event, and each fest will serve six limited-edition brews that Sierra Nevada created in collaboration with other breweries.

Beer Camp tickets sales begin at noon Feb. 25. Stay updated on the fest's tap list through the Sierra Nevada website.
