Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the suspects involved in the theft of the Pizzeataly and Beginning Delights food trucks.

The Pizzeataly food truck was stolen on Nov. 16 between 3:43 a.m. and 3:52 a.m. from the lot at Hillsborough Avenue West and Sawyer Road, according to a news release. The suspect vehicle could be a dark-colored Ford King Ranch with a light-colored bottom.

Another food truck, “Beginning Delights,” was stolen on Dec. 2 between 6:30 p.m. and 8 a.m. from the parking lot at 4901 Rio Vista Ave. W. The suspect vehicle could be a dark-colored Dodge Ram 2500, last seen on the Veterans Expressway traveling south from Hillsborough Ave.

Pizzeataly opened for business in August 2019 by Dora Botero and her boyfriend Mirco Falcone, according to the Tampa Bay Times. The couple was first alerted of the truck’s absence when a friend called asking if they had decided to move it from its usual spot.

“The police are still investigating the case but there are no more leads at this time,” Falcone said to the Times. “We can only wait and see how we can solve our lives because the food truck was our only family income.”

The couple shared footage of the truck being stolen on their Instagram.

Friends of Pizzeataly are collecting donations on a GoFundMe campaign, where they have made $9,463 out of their $35,000 goal as of Thursday afternoon.
