Just weeks away from Tampa Bay Bacon Festival, the event is expected to host 15,000+ attendees.
On April 6th, bacon lovers can get their fix from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at Gaither High School.
Although only seven food trucks are listed on the Facebook event page, Generation Entertainment Florida, the organizers of the event, promise to have anywhere from 15-20 trucks on-site as well as 10-15 additional vendors.
As the event grows closer, the names of vendors will be released. For now, The Bacon Boss, The Inside Scoop, JB’s Sweet Addiction, Renegade Burger, Horhay’s Mac n’ Cheese, Contes Concessions and Hott Mess food trucks are holding it down.
The event is doubling as a fundraiser for the high school’s music program. All proceeds from parking and drinks will go towards the program’s trip to an upcoming competition. Carload parking is $3-$5 depending on the location — organizers are expecting to raise thousands of dollars from those charges alone.
Admission to the event is free, but you’ll need cash or card for grub as you pop around to different vendors filling your face with bacon bites.
