Within the next two weeks, Chill Bros. Scoop Shop will debut in the heart of Ybor City.
The spot is planted at at 1910 E. 7th Ave. in between Zydeco Brew Werks and 7th + Grove (the latter of which, by the way just got four stars from our restaurant reviewer JPC), and you can't miss it with the neon ice cream cone sign inviting you to eventually get your mouth around some hard-scooped ice cream made in-house from scratch right in front of your eyes.
Want to take your scoops to go? Go for it, but Chill Bros. also has seating overlooked by a Chad Mize mural that's waiting to bless your Instagram feed. Don't bring your cute outfit to the spot yet, however, because the shop's windows are covered in little doodles of roosters in parkas with an ice cream cone in hand.
Initially, the ice cream shop's hours will be Tuesday through Thursday noon-9 p.m., Friday and Saturday noon-11 p.m. and Sunday noon-9 p.m.. Chill Bros. will chill and be closed on Monday.
More details on flavors when the official opening date is announced.
