Remember the three-alarm fire that devastated Lee Elementary School last month? The local dining scene does, which is why six talented chefs are coming together to help rebuild the school — one of the oldest in Tampa, and not far from their culinary home bases — through food.

Limited to 100 tickets, Reprise of Culinary Heights: A Lee Elementary Benefit has a creative, collaborative six-course dinner planned for Ella's Americana Folk Art Cafe at 6 p.m. Monday. Every participating chef — Mary Paff (Anise Global Gastrobar), Jason Cline (Poke Rose), Suzanne Crouch (Ella's), Greg Baker (The Refinery and Fodder & Shine), Brian Lampe (Rooser & the Till) and Evan Schmidt (Cena) — will present an elevated take on a classic kids' dish.

Neat, right?

And that's not all. The courses are paired with an area-made beer from Brew Bus, Florida Avenue Brewing Co., Hidden Springs Ale Works and Angry Chair Brewing, or another complementary drink. Plus: Lee Elementary students provide the musical entertainment throughout the night.

After costs, proceeds — which are specifically designated for the school's music program — will go to the Lee Elementary PTA. Tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased online.
