A study performed by travel website wanderu did some scholarly research comparing the average price in the most populated cities throughout the nation for wine, beer and cocktails.

Tampa came in at third place, on the heels of Wichita, Kansas and Cincinnati, Ohio.

Although Tampa didn’t show up in the rankings for cheapest cocktail, pint of beer, of bottle of wine, we didn't show up as the most expensive either.

So that’s a win in itself.

However, when the study checked out the cheapest bottle of beer from the liquor store, Tampa snagged second place at $1.23. Washington D.C. was reportedly the most expensive, priced at $3.17.
