Tampa Theatre is known to locals as one of several “haunted” places in the city, so it makes sense it's now hosting a Halloween-themed cocktail party.
You may remember it hosted its first “BeerFest” event virtually at the beginning of August so, because of how successful it was, Tampa Theatre is hosting another virtual event next month.
Its latest virtual fundraiser, SpiritsFest, is presented by Papa’s Pilar Rum and Treaty Oak Distilling, and allows guests to sip on to-go boxes, which come with four ready-to-pour cocktails made with Waterloo No.9 Gin, Treaty Oak Ghost Hill Bourbon, Papa’s Pilar Dark Rum, a family-sized portion of Tampa Theatre popcorn, souvenir glasses plus some ghoulish goodies.
Besides food and drinks, guests also get exclusive access to live-streamed entertainment like the Monster Mixology class with Papa’s Pilar Rum’s Kyle Cooper and Nadine Thomas from Treaty Oak Distilling, Halloween movie trivia, and a Tampa Theatre ghost tour.
SpiritsFest is October 24 at 7 p.m. Sampling boxes are $95 plus fees (Tampa Theatre members pay $90 plus fees). Boxes are available for pickup the same day from noon-4 p.m. Proceeds from the occasion benefit the Tampa Theatre.
