Next week, Metro Diner will ring in 2019 with area diners by offering $2.99 Bloody Marys. The Tampa-based chain plans to spotlight the drink deal — which is also designed to celebrate National Bloody Mary Day — from open to close Monday, Dec. 31, through Friday, Jan. 4.

Known for putting its own twist on diner-style comfort food (think French toast or chicken and waffles), the chain operates locally in St. Petersburg and South Tampa, plus Sarasota.
