Taco Bus's 11th location inside a converted school bus has come to Tampa. In honor of its grand opening, the new outpost at 7218 E. Hillsborough Ave. will offer 99-cent tacos to customers through Monday, Nov. 5.

The debut of this location, dubbed Taco Bus Orient, also coincides with the no-frills Mexican restaurant's previously announced Day of the Day festivities, which are underway.

"We have been working hard to get this location opened in time for our Day of the Dead fiesta & costume contest," said Heather Chaudhry, director of marketing and operations for Taco Bus, in a statement.

Taco Bus Orient showcases modern decor and other features. But perhaps the main draw is a home base near the Florida State Fairgrounds, MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre and Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, allowing the outpost to provide an affordable Mexican food option before and after local events.
