Who makes the best cocktail in Tampa Bay? The only way to find out is to attend Creative Loafing’s fourth annual Highball competition on January 31, where local bars battle to figure out who is the champion of mixology.

The audience is given the responsibility to choose the winners of HighBall, but only after dutifully trying all 16 cocktails presented. Pick your poison of either whiskey, vodka, gin, rum, and cast your votes while enjoying live entertainment and small bites.

Restaurants that are sampling small portions of their menus to go along with the cocktails are PRP Wine, SaltBlock Hospitality, Southeast Botanicals and The Bricks.

Some bars that participating in the craft cocktail competition are Datz, Sonder Social Club, World of Beer, First Chance Last Chance and Gigglewaters.

HighBall 2020 will be at Nova 535 at 535 Dr. M.L.K. Jr. St. N. in St. Petersburg. Grab your tickets now at tampabayeventtickets.com, and save $10 with advanced pricing.

A portion of proceeds will go to Current Initiatives of Tampa Bay, a Florida-based nonprofit that gets people involved social justice endeavors.
