The Coop Cares Foundation was started by owner Joe Dodd and his wife Stephanie in an effort to address social issues and to “cultivate future leaders in the culinary arts,” according to a press release. Friday’s event is meant to show how the foundation plans to “address food insecurity” in under-resourced communities around the Bay.
Breakfast will be served at the chicken joint’s Seminole Heights (6607 N Florida Ave.) and Wesley Chapel (27835 Wesley Chapel Blvd.) locations from 6:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. or until they run out (both places will have 250 sandwiches total).
Only teachers and students can take advantage of this deal, and teachers have to show a valid school ID. It’s also limited to four kiddos per car.
