If your New Year’s resolution is to do more day drinking and/or seafood slurping, the world (or at least Tabellas at Delaney Creek) is your oyster.

Tampa Oyster Fest is back for its seventh year, with hundreds of raw, steamed and chargrilled oysters, along with a low country boil, Make Mmm Squeal BBQ, an open bar with specialty cocktail tastings and games.

The event is a fundraiser for Frameworks, a nonprofit that helps parents and children develop emotional intelligence.

This year’s music headliner is The Broken Hearts, a tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Also on the bill are country artist Carter Smith and Fil Pate Trio, one of the best instrumental artists in Tampa Bay.

Tickets, per usual, are tiered with a high-dollar “Diamond” option that gets ticket holders in an hour early, along with access to a dedicated concierge, special booze, a VIP lounge with hors d’oeuvres, plus celebrity bartenders like former NFL players Justin Renfrow and William “Bar None” Floyd, along with Tampa Bay’s favorite weatherman Denis Phillips, members of the Tampa Bay Sun, and media personalities like the publishers of CEO & Publisher Tampa Bay Business & Wealth and Creative Loafing Tampa Bay Editor-In-Chief Ray Roa.

Tickets start at $160.70 for Tampa Oyster Fest happening Saturday, Jan. 10 in Tampa.
