Tapas-heavy concept Tropez is now open in downtown St. Pete

Downtown St. Pete debuted a new small plate concept, Tropez at 437 Central Ave.

The extensive menu is packed with appetizers like smoked mahi mahi tacos, watermelon yellowfin tuna and St. Pete cheese curds.

Keeping with the sharing is caring theme, there are also elevated “snacks,” shared plates like mini Cuban fritas and Korean bbq short ribs and bigger plates like chicken tikka masala.

The dessert menu is short but intriguing with bites like chocolate croissant pudding, creme brûlée, and French doughnuts.

Get in the mood by pairing each plate with a glass of wine from the bar, or a handcrafted cocktail or cold brew.

Hours for the latest downtown St. Pete concept are Tuesday through Thursday 4 p.m.-1 a.m., Friday 4 p.m.-3 a.m., Saturday 11 a.m.-3 a.m., and Sunday 11 a.m.-1 a.m.
