In the next few weeks, the Kapok Special Events Pavilion in Clearwater will host The Taste of NACE event.
The Tampa Chapter of the National Association of Caterers and Events, otherwise known as NACE, will pit local bars and restaurants against each other in a cooking competition for charity.
Some of the participating restaurants and catering companies include Amici’s, Delectable’s, Salt Block and Catering by the Family.
“We are thrilled to host this wonderful evening of food, fun, and libations from Tampa Bay’s top caterers and event planners. This is the first time the very elite group of off-premise caterers in Tampa Bay, will be in one place,” said A.J. Dadetto, President of NACE in a recent statement.
On Saturday, August 24 from 6-9 p.m., guests can sample bites and cocktails while enjoying live entertainment and participating in a silent auction with all proceeds benefiting The Pat Dicianno Memorial Scholarship fund for the continued growth of Catering and Event Professionals.
Individual tickets are $50, and you can snag a sponsorship table for 10 guests for $400.
