In fall, Thai Prime will be added to the collection of restaurants that includes Del Frisco's Grille and Texas de Brazil at Tampa's MetWest International. The authentic Thai restaurant — whose flagship, Thai Samuari, operates in Trinity — will have 176 seats, a full liquor bar and outdoor seating.

Across from International Plaza and Tampa International Airport, the MetWest retail center has dedicated a 2,613-square-foot space to the Thai Prime, owned by David Chong and his family alongside the Fordham family. Lunch and dinner will be offered, as well as breakfast, which no other restaurant in the center is serving.

Sometime in November, Davidoff of Geneva's Cigar Bar & Lounge will open to MetWest as well.
