This multifaceted foodie fest takes place at downtown Tampa’s Curtis Hixon Park on Saturday, Feb. 18.
In addition to unlimited sips of craft beer and bourbon, attendees can expect a wide range of barbecued meats and live blues and rock music, too. Although the festival will feature a variety of different barbecue styles, it’s known for its “Swine of Shrine” aka whole smoked hogs.
Unfortunately, VIP tickets for this foodie festival are already sold out, but there’s still time to grab general admission passes for $45. VIP ticket holders can enter the festival early, but GA folks still get unlimited samples of beer and bourbon from 2 p.m.-6 p.m., a souvenir tasting glass, and access to the event’s live entertainment.
Tickets can be purchased on the festival’s website.
Alongside a full spread of booze, blues and barbecue, next weekend’s festivities also feature various games and activities (think giant Jenga, cornhole), vendors peddling their wares and educational seminars where you can learn from brewmasters, professional distillers and pit-masters.
Beer, Bourbon & BBQ is a traveling festival that pops up in different cities across the country. This month’s gig in Tampa kicks off its 2023 season, which also has stops in Atlanta, North Carolina and Maryland next month. For the latest information on Tampa’s Beer, Bourbon & BBQ festival, head to its Facebook page, where more details will be posted as the event nears closer.
And if you’re looking for another meat-centric event, the first-ever Sunshine City Smokeout BBQ competition happens across the bridge in St. Pete this weekend.
