The extensive beer list for the Tampa Bay Lightning’s fifth-annual Bolts Brew Fest is finally here and includes Tampa Bay classics like Cigar City’s Jai Alai IPA and Big Storm’s Bromosa, as well as some underrated favorites like Barriehaus’ dark Munich dunkel and Magnanimous’ Das Sieben Light Lager.

The craft beer event will take place on Friday, August 5 at downtown Tampa’s Amalie Arena with general admission beginning at 8 p.m.

The event has also announced a new addition to its VIP Experience is a personal tour of the Lightning’s official locker room. The VIP Experience also allows for early entry (6-7 p.m.) into the event for a crowd-less and wider selection of beer to taste, exclusive access to Amalie Arena’s Ashley VIP Lounge and an offer code for a BOGO ticket for one Lightning pre-season game* (*limited quantities are available and only while supplies last).

Bolts Brew Fest, produced in part by Creative Loafing Tampa Bay, is one of Tampa Bay’s biggest beer events and features a wide variety of craft beers from local, national and international breweries and is a great experience for everyone from beer enthusiasts to newly 21-year-olds looking to get acclimated to the scene. The event will also feature oversized games, Lightning mascot ThunderBug, music, photo opportunities
