October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and local bakery The Cake Girl wants to help in a super sweet way.

Throughout the month of October, The Cake Girl will donate $1 from every sale of the bakery’s limited edition Crave’n Cups to The American Cancer Society.

The cups are loaded with pink vanilla cake, vanilla buttercream, pink sprinkles and a special pink buttercream ribbon on top.

"We wanted to give back and help bring awareness during the whole month of October, and these cute pink Crave'n Cups help us accomplish that mission," explained The Cake Girl founder, Kristina Lavallee, in a release.

The bakery hopes to present The American Cancer Center with a check of at least a grand by the end of the month. Doing a little quick and simple math, that means at least 1,000 Crave’n Cups need to be devoured by those who harness both a sweet tooth and a big heart. Probably won’t take much convincing.

"Awareness, Support and Community Involvement is what this is all about," said Kirby Lavallee, the bakery’s Chief Success Coach in the release. "We give back year-round, but this cause is super special to us since one of our own team members is a breast cancer survivor."

A four-pack of Crave’n Cups will cost you $28, and an eight-pack comes in at $54. You can pre-order the Crave’n Cups in-store or online through the bakery’s website.

The Cake Girl is located at 13713 N. Dale Mabry in Tampa, running from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday.
