Owner Kristina Lavallee initially launched The Cake Girl in 2009, before branching out into a dessert trailer servicing farmer’s markets and corporate events in fall of 2016.
Nearly three years later, Lavallee is ready to debut her first brick-and-mortar to provide Tampa Bay with a one-stop shop for her custom cakes and desserts.
The baker is known for her decadent cakes prepared for birthdays, weddings and special events as well as her two-bite cupcakes. Customers can also indulge in brownie sundaes and homemade ice cream.
You can get a taste this Saturday, June 8 from 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
