Don't expect your New Year's resolution to last very long with the 4th Annual St. Pete Beer & Bacon Festival scheduled for Saturday, January 18 (although it wouldn't hurt to eat healthier up until the event to avoid a clogged artery.) This year attendees have access to over 75 craft beers, more than 12 cocktails and spirits, jello shots and 50-plus bacon dishes from a slew of local vendors taking over Vinoy Park from noon-7 p.m.

Early bird pricing ($39) is now available for the "Grand Sampling," which includes unlimited beer and cocktail samples from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. Just a heads up, food is not included, so bring extra dough. Early bird for GA tickets is $15, but that only covers your entry, so monies for all booze and bites will be coming out of your pocket.

Early bird pricing ends December 13 when the sampling price goes up to $50 (and GA goes up to $20.)

St. Pete Beer & Bacon Festival Festival is family and dog-friendly, offering up games and prizes throughout the day, so you might want to bring the sunscreen and lawn chairs for those in your gang who can't hang. Live music will be provided by The Black Honkeys, as well as a few other local bands who have yet to be announced.

The festival is currently working on VIP hookups, so stay tunes to
