Craving some Cuban eats in Tampa? Hit up the ultra-casual red cafe that's been hard to miss since it opened earlier this month.

The Raft serves house-made empanadas and salchipapa, a street food marriage typically consisting of fries and frankfurters, from a walk-up order window at 1901 W. Platt St. It's next-door neighbors with Thee Tree House, fka Platt Street Borough.

On the menu, the cafe's empanada options include beef and Cheddar (see above), cheese only, pork and Swiss, and Nutella. Patrons could also go with regular fries, plus water or soda.

The grub is affordably priced between $3 and $6.

The Raft, according to its Facebook page, operates from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 a.m. Saturday, and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday.
