Two Tampa Bay craft breweries and a beer distributor brought home accolades from Denver's annual Great American Beer Festival over the weekend.
Ybor's Tampa Bay Brewing Company won a bronze medal for its Reef Donkey APA, as did Motorworks Brewing in Bradenton for its Vienna-style lager called VTwin.
J.J. Taylor Distributing Florida, which represents 41 breweries (15 are Florida-based), also received the coveted Craft Beer Distributor of the Year award.
In previous years, winning state brews included Florida Beer Company's Florida Lager and Cigar City Brewing's Cucumber Saison.
