Temple Terrace Russian restaurant Babushka’s is set to open its second location in South Tampa any day now.
The second location for popular Russian eatery Babushka’s is now open in Hyde Park. The highly-anticipated restaurant took to social media to say that it's currently open with limited menu, reservation-only table service plus a few walk-in bar seats.

Next week the restaurant—which includes a vodka and caviar bar—will serve the entire menu at full capacity.

The new place—at 901 W Platt St., the former home of Hyde Park’s Boca—also has an entirely different look than the original Temple Terrace spot. While the East Tampa restaurant has a quaint and cozy vibe, the South Tampa space is more, well, South Tampa-y.

Hours of operation are Tuesday-Thursday 4 p.m.-9 p.m., Friday-Saturday,11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. on Sunday. To stay up to date, follow @babushkas.hydepark on Instagram for more.
