The second location for popular Russian eatery Babushka’s is now open in Hyde Park. The highly-anticipated restaurant took to social media to say that it’s currently open with limited menu, reservation-only table service plus a few walk-in bar seats.
Next week the restaurant—which includes a vodka and caviar bar—will serve the entire menu at full capacity.
The new place—at 901 W Platt St., the former home of Hyde Park’s Boca—also has an entirely different look than the original Temple Terrace spot. While the East Tampa restaurant has a quaint and cozy vibe, the South Tampa space is more, well, South Tampa-y.
Hours of operation are Tuesday-Thursday 4 p.m.-9 p.m., Friday-Saturday,11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. on Sunday. To stay up to date, follow @babushkas.hydepark on Instagram for more.
