Shriners Hospitals for Children has released a specialty coffee blend in partnership with Joffrey's. The Tampa-based coffee and tea company's latest roast, Rise & Shrine, rolled out during a launch party earlier this week.
"Smooth" and "hearty," Rise & Shrine is a medium blend of freshly roasted Arabica beans. Sales of the java will benefit the local health care system, as $1 from every 1-pound bag purchased goes to Shriners.
"At Joffrey's, we have made a commitment to help causes supporting families and children who are in need in our community," said Joffrey's CEO Ted Abrams in a statement. "This is why we decided to join Shriners Hospitals for Children in their charitable mission."
Rise & Shrine, which retails for about $14, is available for purchase online.
