MONDAY, NOVEMBER 19-WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 21: VOLUNTEER THANKSGIVING COOKS NEEDED
Want to help cook turkeys and pies for the less fortunate this Thanksgiving? St. Mark's Lutheran Church and Chef John Lewis are looking for home cooks to buy and cook turkeys (roughly 16 pounds each) and pies (apple or pumpkin). Deliver turkeys to the church November 19-21 from 3-8 p.m. Deliver pies to the church on November 21 from 3-8 p.m. Call the church to schedule food drop-offs. Part two of the three part series focuses on bottling at Ybor's Roosevelt 2.0. Mary Mac will show everyone how to bottle their craft winter beer. That means participants are one step closer to the best part, tasting their beer. Learn the art of bottling and labeling your home brew, plus proper bottle conditioning. $15.
