As the countdown to Tampa Bay Beer Week continues, ticket sales for the 2017 Best Florida Beer Brewers Ball kicked off a few hours ago.
The intimate festival — which celebrates the best brews in Florida, as chosen during the Best Florida Beer Championships, and is held annually during Beer Week (that begins March 4) — will allow attendees to taste the Championships' top three beers in each category of beer, cider and mead. It's scheduled to take place at Tampa's Water Works Park, adjacent to Ulele, between noon and 4 p.m. March 5.
Rain or shine, the Brewers Ball allows attendees to mingle with brewers and brewery owners from around the state while they sip and enjoy the culinary stylings of four food trucks. Best of Show trophies for the commercial competition will be awarded, and a beer raffle is also planned.
Admission, which includes two food vouchers, costs $60; tickets can be purchased online. Stay updated on the festival through its Facebook event page.
