Can you believe we're already at the finale episode of Top Chef Just Desserts? Time sure flies when you're actually enjoying a season of Just Desserts (unlike the last one…).Tonight's episode will pit the final three pastry chef'testants — Chris, Matthew and Sally — against one another in a battle royale of sugary goodness.
The producers don't typically screw the contestants over with crazy twists during the final episode and usually give them a bit of help by bringing back chopped contestants to play sous chefs. For this finale, the chefs will be receiving guidance by "three of the greatest pastry chefs on Earth," Jacques Torres (a.k.a.: Mr. Chocolate), Sebastien Cannone, and Stephane Treand. Apparently, these gentlemen are "MOFs" — no, it's not an acronym for a derogatory name — "Un des Meilleurs Ouvriers de France" ("One of the Best Craftsmen of France").
In the preview video below, it looks like Chris and Matthew's bromance has bloomed into shirtless wrasslin' in the bedroom. I wonder if it will turn into a catty bitchslapping fight, à la Alexis Carrington and Krystle Jennings, later in the show when the heat is on and they can start to smell that $100k prize. (Yes, I just dropped a Dynasty reference.)
