For the second bout of the Champions Round on tonight's episode of Top Chef Masters, they're down to seven chef'testants and welcoming even more random "celebrities" as judges.
For the Quickfire, the chefs are challenged with a Simpsons-themed battle, each having to cook a dish for a certain character from the show. (Where in the heck do they come up with these challenges? Throwing darts at an idea board?!) The dishes will be judged by The Simpsons creators and Hank Azaria, the voice of many of the show's characters.
As for the Elimination Challenge, it looks like they're having to do the "cook crazy shit" challenge, getting odd proteins to feature in their dishes like geo duck (which isn't a duck at all), offal and the like — don't quote me though, that's just an example of what the chefs received when they executed this test of culinary prowess during a prior season of Top Chef. It looks like Obi Wan Chefnobi (Waxman) is sweating this episode and will be "trusting in his foot" to get through this one.
