I am delighted to announce the return of the Top Chef Podcast where we chat about the newest season of Top Chef Masters — and also the usual random, somewhat off-topic issues as well. (But that's why you love us.)

This season, Bravo changed up the format for Top Chef Masters by having 6 (instead of 4) well-known chefs compete against each other and allowing 2 of those to go to the finals round (which now will consist of 8, instead of 6). Our chef'testants were Govind Armstrong, Susan Feniger, Anna Sortun, Jerry Traunfeld, Jimmy Bradley and Tony Mantuano, who competed for$5k for their chosen charity in the Quickfire Challenge and $10k in the Elimination Challenge.

The chefs had to team up for both challenges: the Quickfire being the 'Convenient Store Challenge', where the chefs were totally out of their element shopping for ingredients at a Quickie Mart; and the Elimination Challenge, where they had to cook for a room full of eHarmony rejects on first dates (who were terribly mismatched).

Listen to us (attempt to) recap this episode and the hilarity that ensues.

Tune in to Bravo every Wednesday at 10 pm EST/9 pm C, check out our own live Tweets during the show (Jeff: @TheStew, Katie: @culinarypirate), and listen to our podcast here every week! (You can even download us on iTunes!)

Check out our fellow Top Chef fanatics' blogs: Please Pack Your Knives And Go had a great "March Madness" Top Chef edition recently, as well as an amusing recap of last night's episode, and All Top Chef gives us their colorful critiques.
