This is it, the final epsiode of Top Chef Masters season 2. We've said goodbye to so many well-known chef contenders leaving Rick Moonen, Marcus Samuelsson, and Susur Lee to battle it out to the finish.
I will say that this was the best challenge of the entire season, allowing the chefs to cook a three-course meal that told the story of their lives. They were even able to work with their own sous chefs (who, oddly enough, all resembled them) to have added in advantage in this challenge that allowed them to cook really their hearts out.
My biggest critique about this episode (besides the winner): where the heck was Gael Greene?! If she were there, I think the outcome would have been completely different. She's like Glinda the Good Witch to Rayner's Wicked Witch of the West.
Even though the outcome of the show was neither expected nor liked by the fans, our podcast is a shining beacon of light into what was otherwise a very dreary outcome of the show. Plus, we've got Lilly J. (@lillyj) as our special guest this week so you know it's going to be extra snarky and hilarious.
