Join Heights Public Market’s Union by Commune + Co. for its first Matcha Art Throwdown, starting at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Hosted in partnership with Spirit Tea, the competition — free and open to all — invites 32 contenders to battle it out with the essential matcha tool that is a bamboo whisk.
Each participant’s drinks are on the house, an added bonus on top of the cash and prizes up for grabs from the Tampa Heights coffee and tea bar.
