Tuesday afternoon, Urban Comfort revealed an opening date for its sibling food concept, Urban Creamery, on social media.

As the newest member of the Urban mini-empire that restaurateur Andy Salyards is steadily creating in St. Petersburg, Urban Creamery will start serving at 4 p.m. March 31. The ice cream and dessert parlor is located at 689 Central Ave. on downtown St. Pete's thriving 600 Block.

At the creamery, milk is sourced directly from farmers, and diners will choose from homemade ice cream in flavors like honey graham cracker, as well as milkshakes, sundaes and dessert waffles.
