So many ways to spend the weekend with food and drink, so little time.

Perk up. There's still time to celebrate the Caffeine Roasters Grand Opening, which runs until 7 p.m. Friday. Guests enjoy $1 aioli biscuits from chef Freddy Peña during lunch, plus an on-site roasting demo that showcases Caffeine South Tampa's new roaster. Those eager to learn more about specialty coffee — aromas, flavor profiles and more — should also get in on cupping sessions at 3 and 6 p.m. Free, money for coffee and food. 2420 W. Kennedy Blvd., Tampa, 813-644-7245.

Want more Friday fun? Head to St. Pete Brewing Co. for the Boards & Brews Fundraiser. From 6 to 9 p.m., attendees can sip craft beer while learning about Boards for Bros, a nonprofit dedicated to providing skateboards and skateboarding lessons to underserved youth. The funds raised go toward a future Boards for Bros skateboard build for St. Petersburg. Not to mention, $12 rice bowls, $3.50 tacos and $10 Bricklayer Nachos are planned from The Bricks. Free, money for beer and food. 544 First Ave. N., St. Petersburg, 727-623-4837.

Early risers and their doggos are set to have a blast during I Love the Burg's Pup With the Sun Instameet, which observes Saturday as National Dog Day. Meet at Lassing Park between 6:30 and 8 a.m. to score free Kahwa Coffee while supplies last, alongside free pupcakes from (swah-rey). Expect frozen samples from That Dog Ice Cream, as well as prizes for the best pooch photos taken at the event. Free. 2042 Beach Drive SE, St. Petersburg.

Celebrate Florida Weisse, a regional version of the popular Berliner Weisse, at Coppertail Brewing Co. The Ybor brewery toasts to its third year in business with a big festival, hosted from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, that brings more than 30 Florida Weisse beers (think Strawberry Limeade, Dark & Stormy and Cherry Pastelitos), guest taps from local breweries, food from the in-house S&V Kitchen, live music and other highlights to its tasting room. There's no entry fee, as festgoers pay per pour. Peep the full tap listFree, money for beer and food. 2601 E. Second Ave., Tampa, 813-247-1500.

End the weekend with a Liquid Brunch, as if that wasn't already the plan. The Independent Bar St. Pete has bottomless mimosas, rosé and bubbly — plus homemade sangria and shandies (with house-made sodas) — in store from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, and a biscuit and jam bar from Eat This and Our Lady of Perpetual Pickles rounds out the spread. Free, money for food and drinks. 1049 Central Ave., St. Petersburg, 727-851-9032.
