Owner Jean Totti, who was born and raised on the island in the Caribbean Sea, is sharing handwritten family recipes, which go back three generations.
Each dish is made to order; some street food offerings include roasted pork with plantain mofongo, arroz con gandules, paella and chicharrones de pollo.
Hours for the restaurant are Tuesday-Sunday 5-9 p.m., and will venture into lunch hours beginning next week from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
