Where to spend Drinksgiving, aka Thanksgiving Eve, in Tampa Bay

A running list of where to pregame for Turkey Day (yes, it's a thing) around the Bay area. On Drinksgiving — aka Thanksgiving Eve, which is said to be the year's biggest bar night — these destinations provide everything from gulps to grooves ahead of the holiday smorgasbord.

All events take place on Wednesday, Nov. 21, unless otherwise noted.

Arkane Aleworks Twenty-eight drafts are eligible for crowler fills, offered at $2 off. A few options include Like Cold Apple Pie (apple pie sour), Imaginary Butterflies (mango key lime pie sour) and Pieracy, It's a Crime (coconut cream pie sour). 3-10 p.m. 2480 E. Brew Bus Brewing Spend the night before you feast jumping from local dive bar to dive bar with Brew Bus's take on the Turkey Trot. Circles The best little tiki bar to flock to for abundant amounts of imbibing. Specials range from $1 lemon drops to $5 grouper bites to $3 single-liquor wells. Franklin Manor This is where Downtown Crawlers' yearly pub hop kicks off. Whether you're trying to escape your family members or spend more quality time with them, the bar-crawl-on-wheels transports you to and from each location.
