Win with gin: Cucumber Mint Fizz

Simple with refreshing hints of sweet and cool, this take on a gin fizz combines fresh ingredients to create a great warm-weather cocktail. It's best enjoyed with your feet up, and sure to be a hit during all your summer porch parties. Bottoms up!

Cucumber Mint Fizz
Makes 1

Ingredients 

6 cucumber slices, skin on
1 lime
4 mint leaves
1 ounce gin
2 ounces simple syrup (equal parts water and syrup)
Soda water

Directions

Muddle 5 cucumber slices, lime and mint leaves in a cocktail shaker. Incorporate the gin and simple syrup into the shaker, topping with ice. Shake vigorously, and then, using a cocktail strainer, pour over a glass with fresh ice.

Top with soda water and use the last cucumber slice for garnish.
