A new gallery is combining contemporary art with a full wine bar and selection of fusion tapas.

In Tampa's Northdale area, owners and artists Cristina Denegri and Bosko Curich opened the doors of D'Arte Gallery Wine & Tapas Bar in early November. Their intimate gallery at 3861 Northdale Blvd. has a laid-back feel, plus an international tapas menu with Peruvian, Italian and Spanish influences.

"Back when we owned our first gallery, I told myself that one day I will be able to express and promote art and culture through a different medium, which in this case is cooking," Denegri said in a statement.

Open Tuesday through Sunday, D'Arte features live entertainment on weekends. The gallery also plans to host chartity events and art shows open to the public.
