Best Bets:

TBPAC BOTB 23 Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center's 23rd annual Best of Tampa Bay Party is this weekend (not to be confused with CL's Best of the Bay blow-out at Tampa Theatre a few months ago). Stroll along downtown's "Riverwalk" — yeah, it still deserves air quotes — while sampling food from over 50 restaurants and wine, beer and spirits from a plethora of retailers and distributors. There's a vague 50s theme to the shindig this year, so be sure to wax up the pompadours and shimmy into some poodle skirts. Proceeds benefit the TBPAC. $80, 7-11 p.m., Fri., April 18, Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, 1010 N. MacInnes Place, Tampa, 813-229-7827 or tbpac.org.

KOSHER SIPS There's no reason not to have fine wine at this year's seder, thanks to Pasadena Liquors and Fine Wines. They're bringing in Golan Heights Winery rep Yosef Vinas to pour 10 of Israel's best Kosher vino — and suggest food pairings that'll put your previous seders to shame. Free, 5-8 p.m., April 17, Pasadena Liquors and Fine Wines, 1100 Pasadena Ave. S., South Pasadena, 727-347-9607 or pasadenaliquors.com.
