Remember the Wiseguy Kitchen Cooking Show? No? Well, apparently, host and chef Vincent Fiore has opened Tampa's own Wiseguy Kitchen, an Italian trattoria. The new restaurant at 214 E. Bearss Ave., which used to house Oggi Italian, is part of the Bearss Village shopping center.

Wiseguy Kitchen's menu is divided into appetizers, salads, pasta, entrees and desserts, plus options for kids. Dishes include stuffed mushrooms, arancini, rigatoni and meatballs, linguine primavera, eggplant Parmesan, balsamic-glazed salmon, and limoncello cake.

Originally scheduled for this week, the grand opening celebration will now take place from 5 to 10 p.m. Jan. 12. Door prizes and live entertainment are among the festivities.
