Rock Brothers Brewing has promised to do the unthinkable. In honor of Repeal Day, the swanky Ybor City brewery plans to offer 50-cent Old Fashioneds from Old Forester between 7 and 10 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5.
To nab the classic cocktail at 1933 pricing, guests must say, "Bottled in Bond." Bottled in Bond, of course, is the second expression in Old Forester's Whiskey Row Series.
I'm not sure you can be trusted if you've never experienced the glorious, fiercely loved Old Fashioned. But in any case, it's a stirred mix of bourbon or rye, Angostura bitters, a sugar cube and water.
