I saw Paul Rutherford’s eyes light up when he passed the Sierra Nevada table at Bolts Brew Fest. He proceeded to talk me through a few reasons why the 2019 edition of California brewery’s annual Oktoberfest beer is one of the most interesting in the world (it’s about the collaboration). That’s why I won’t miss a chance to see what Zydeco Brew Werks’ beer maker has in store for Tampa Bay beer fans at this Oktoberfest kickoff where his own Ybor City suds shop is pouring a signature “Prost” beer along with five other German styles. Liters and lederhosen encouraged.
