If you’ve ever seen a roaming green cart filled with Cuban bread while you’re shopping at Publix, chances are it was filled with Casino Bakery’s signature bake. Now, though, you’ll also be able to grab La Segunda’s Cuban bread on select shelves around the Bay.
Right now, there are only six locations carrying the bread, but more stores are going to be added to the deal, according to the bakery’s Instagram. You can go here to find out if your store has it available.
If you’re wondering whether your Publix is going to continue carrying the bread from Casino, you should call ahead (ask for the grocery department). Each location is going to have its own offerings and they all differ unless you’re looking for the stuff from the Publix Bakery.
That’s not the only growth the Tampa favorite has announced this year, though.
La Segunda also announced its expansion into St. Petersburg earlier this year, and it’s set to open this fall, according to its Instagram.
