Patrons have a chance to be on Emeril's Florida while lunching at Z Grille Friday afternoon.

Z Grille invites diners to be part of Emeril's Florida

In case you missed him, celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse was in Tampa Bay last week.

The chef visited places like Rooster & the Till in Seminole Heights and downtown St. Pete's Z Grille to film his Cooking Channel series Emeril's Florida. And now, Z Grille is inviting patrons to stop by for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Friday to be involved with the remainder of the show's filming.

Though Lagasse won't be on site, diners may have a shot at being on TV once the episode airs. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Later, on Nov. 1, the restaurant plans to introduce new brunch, lunch and dinner offerings. Tandoori fish tacos and a kale salad with pork belly and way more will be among the fresh items. Some of the original menu's favorites will be served on select days, too.
