Zephryhills Pie Festival attracts bakers, tasters

Celebrate the flaky goodness that is pie alongside other baked goods enthusiasts at Zephyrhills' Pie Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24.

Held at Zephyr Park, the free event will showcase more than 50 vendors with eats like produce and cheese, a baking competition ($5 entry fee) at 1 and a pie-eating contest ($10 fee) at 3. The bake-off's panel of judges, composed of local journalists and city officials, will crown the winner.

Guests will nosh 'til their hearts desire for $10 at the event's pie buffet, too, where they may pile on various toppings and ice cream.
