Former dealer, club rapper and amped-water magnate 50 Cent has reportedly filed for bankruptcy. According to a Wall Street Journal article, the man at least partially responsible for creating hip-hop's most superficial stylistic offshoot to date (write hook; add strippers; drop money; repeat) claims "assets and debts each in the range of $10 million to $50 million."
It's widely assumed Fiddy's latest financial move was inspired by the $5 million lawsuit he just lost against former Rick Ross paramour Lastonia Leviston; she sued him for posting a sex tape featuring her and a man who was neither MC online — after he edited himself into the video, wearing a wig, calling himself Pimpin' Curly and providing not-so-flattering commentary.
