After an uber-snazzy set at Orlando’s massive Vans Warped Tour, John O’Callaghan and The Maine have confirmed that a new era for the band is upon us, and St. Petersburg will get a taste of it in April.

The Arizona group behind “Into Your Arms” has been hard at work on its currently-untitled tenth studio album, which promises to lay the foundation for an epic new era. But 2025 kicked off with a surprise release of Dyed (2008-2023), a collection of unreleased cuts from each of its preceding nine albums. You’ll still hear the jams that made the last few Sad Summer tours (and 2022’s 97x Next Big Thing) all the better, but at a headlining gig like this (the guys’ first local one since a 2019 stop at the since-shuttered Ybor City location of Orpheum), don’t be shocked if there’s a bit of unfamiliarity.

Tickets to see The Maine play St. Pete’s Jannus Live on Tuesday, April 28 go on sale to the public tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. for $49.75, with subsequent presales happening right now.
