BJ Barham loves Duke’s mayo, and he’s also unafraid to tackle toxic masculinity.

Fresh off turning 40 years old, the American Aquarium frontman recently told NPR all about the band’s new Shooter Jennings-produced album, The Fear of Standing Still, which gets political, tackles the idea of being Southern, and more.

Barham’s back in Tampa, this time under the comfort of the Skipperdome.

Tickets to see American Aquarium play Skipper’s Smokehouse in Tampa on Monday, Feb. 17 are still available for $20.
